Ingredients

  • ½ cup Butter
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ⅔ cup Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon Ground
  • ⅛ teaspoon Nutmeg Ground
  • 1 ½ cups Quick-cooking Rolled Oats
  • 6 ounces Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

    Cream butter until soft.

    Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.

    Beat until light and fluffy.

    Blend in flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

    Stir in oats and chocolate chips.

    Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.

    Space cookies about 2 inches apart.

    Bake at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
