Ingredients
Crust
- 2 cups Pretzels Crushed
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- ¾ cup Butter Softened
Filling
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Sugar
- 8 ounces Cool Whip
Topping
- 20 ounces Strawberries Frozen
- 8 ounces Strawberry Jello Package
- 2 cups Water Boiling
Instructions
The Crust

1Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).

2In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, sugar, and softened margarine/butter until well combined.

3Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 13×9-inch baking pan.

4Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool completely.
The Filling

1In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

2Fold in the Cool Whip.

3Spread mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust, making sure to cover the edges to prevent the Jell-O from leaking downward.

4Refrigerate for 2 hours to set.
The Topping

1In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in 2 cups of boiling water.

2Add the frozen strawberries and stir until thawed and the mixture thickens slightly.

3Pour evenly over the chilled cream cheese layer.
