Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cups Pretzels Crushed
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • ¾ cup Butter Softened

Filling

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip

Topping

  • 20 ounces Strawberries Frozen
  • 8 ounces Strawberry Jello Package
  • 2 cups Water Boiling

Instructions

The Crust

    Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).

    In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, sugar, and softened margarine/butter until well combined.

    Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 13×9-inch baking pan.

    Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool completely.

The Filling

    In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

    Fold in the Cool Whip.

    Spread mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust, making sure to cover the edges to prevent the Jell-O from leaking downward.

    Refrigerate for 2 hours to set.

The Topping

    In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in 2 cups of boiling water.

    Add the frozen strawberries and stir until thawed and the mixture thickens slightly.

    Pour evenly over the chilled cream cheese layer.
